Come Rock With Us!

Some nights are more than a party

On Friday, October 2, 2026, The Pencil Box takes over Cain’s Ballroom for Rock Paper Scissors! A high-energy night of dinner, drinks, live music, dancing, and auction experiences in support of Tulsa County teachers and students.

This year, we are celebrating on one of Tulsa’s most legendary stages, during the 100th anniversary of Route 66, in a venue where music history has been made for generations.

Join us for a night that brings the community together, raises critical support for classrooms across Tulsa County, and proves what can happen when Tulsa shows up for its students.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Presented by Shining Honor Foundation.

Why Should You Rock with Us?

Because too many students begin the school year without the supplies they need, and too many teachers are left to fill the gap themselves.

The Pencil Box exists to change that.

We provide free school supplies to teachers serving students in high-need public schools across Tulsa County. Teachers come to The Pencil Box to choose the supplies their classrooms actually need.

Last school year alone, The Pencil Box provided more than $1.3 million in school supplies to over 25,000 students and 535 teachers.

The need is growing. Sixty-six percent of Tulsa County public school students are economically disadvantaged. Student need has risen by 48%, while retail in-kind donations have dropped 61% over the last four years.

That means financial support matters more than ever.

Rock Paper Scissors helps keep the shelves stocked, the store open, and Tulsa County classrooms equipped for success.

Sponsorship: Join the Band

Rock Paper Scissors sponsors do more than attend the event. They lead the night.

Your sponsorship places your business, foundation, or family at the center of one of The Pencil Box’s most visible annual fundraisers, while directly supporting the teachers and students who depend on us throughout the school year.

Sponsorship helps fund the supplies that fill classrooms across Tulsa County. It helps reduce the out-of-pocket burden on teachers. It helps students walk into school with the tools they need to participate, learn, and succeed.

This is a chance to put your name behind a mission Tulsa understands: when students have what they need, teachers can teach, classrooms are stronger, and our whole community benefits.

Whether you want to take the stage as a leading sponsor or join the lineup at another level, your support makes the night possible.
